"The School of Magic" is another of Escape Hunt's Print N Play offering. Upon purchase, you will be given a PDF to download and print. You will need a device with internet access as for this particular game, you will need to have a 'live chat' with a character to key in your answers and if its correct, you'll be allowed to move on to the next phase. All of the puzzles are on the documents printed. Hints are also available in the live chat should you need them.

For this particular game, the focus is mainly on Paper Manipulation. There will be some items that will need to be cut out, papers that need to be folded and sometimes a mixture of both. This created some magical moments as things you initially cut out could be used again in later chapter to achieve a totally different solution. There are 1 or 2 other forms of puzzles, but the main focus was on manipulating the physical paper items in front of you.

This was quite a pleasant experience. I went into this, thinking that it will be similar to the other Print N Play games that Escape Hunt has. This is the only game that I've played that uses a live chat function to check your answers. It made the game a little more interactive, as if you are really talking to a fellow magic student for help but remotely. Almost all of their games will require some kind of cutting and folding, but this is the only game that implemented it throughout the game play and it blended well with the theme and story yet did not feel repetitive at all. I was kept interested throughout the entire game play in finding out the various spells and magic these items can bring! Fans who like using physical items and anything that has to do with magic should definitely give this a go!
