A dream come true! If I had the chance to build an escape room, this is what I would imagine it to be...As a huge Disney fan, I was very excited for this remote experience. Our mission was to help the seven dwarves destroy the poison apple. The only way the evil queen would not be able to get to it would be for us to take it to the center of the Earth. Let's get digging!
After watching the intro video and saying hi to our lovely avatar Liz, our team and Escape Mattster started exploring the room immediately. Liz did a great job giving us an overview of the room. If that's not enough, the inventory list was very clear and helpful. The set design felt like it came straight out of a Disney movie. We felt the presence of the seven dwarves through the tools, utensils, and their cute little boots! It was great to see the props being utilized perfectly with the puzzles. As we proudly completed the first room, we were immediately wowed by what came next. Let's just say, there were more to this than meets the eye...
As we ventured deeper into the Earth, we realized we really we couldn't take a breather with this game. There were puzzles after puzzles. It was very satisfying. Although we got stuck on one of them for a bit, we still finished with 13 minutes remaining. We didn't have much to nitpick about on this room. The only three complains I have were: 1. Why didn't I wait to play this in person? 2. How come the creator didn't just make this into a never ending game? 3. Please make more Disney themed rooms! You guys are awesome at it!
