🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • From the moment we stepped inside the room our mission began. The briefing video really set the tone and provided us with a sense of urgency from the beginning. We love zombie storylines that hypothetically put us in survival mode.

  • The set design was an eerie laboratory. It fees like something might pop out at you any moment but there's no live actors (unless you request one). Everything was high tech and looked like a scene from Resident Evil!

  • For the puzzles designs, there was a good mixture of physical challenges, traditional & tech-based locks that we needed to open! Some physical challenges involved making an antidote and the steps to that really made us feel like we're trying to save the human race!

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • Certain keypads in the room functioned differently than the others. We overlooked to try one until a bit later because we thought we needed a code as all the others needed one. That particular one only just needed a swipe. Perhaps make that one different than the others so players wouldn't assume the same action.

  • One particular puzzle needed knowledge of time zones which wasn't really given on the clue. It would help to add that on in case players are confused about and would be easier for game masters to clue with the numbered lines.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

In "Quarantine", there's an optional version to have a live actor inside the room playing a zombie chained up. As the time dwindles down, the chain starts to get loose. As an added challenge, if the zombie manages touch you or one of your teammates, you are then required to go into the quarantine chamber pod for 2 minutes. Obviously, Cici opted out of this version. But if you like the thrill of a zombie changing after you while solving puzzles, definitely give it a go! Otherwise, the "scaredy cat" version....I mean the regular version is just as great!
