Your quest is to locate the entrance to those catacombs and brew a sleeping potion to put the dragon to sleep so you can grab the treasure. 🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE The room had some carefully crafted props with a lot of attention to detail. Some of our favorites included the magical staff, the leather journal and scrolls, the iron padlock as well as some of the references hidden in the solutions. The set design of the room was impressive. The stone walls and feel of the overall room made for a fantastic atmosphere. There was a wide range of puzzles, varying in type and difficulty. This worked well with the non-linear beginning that allowed us all, including the kids, to be working on different puzzles simultaneously. We appreciated the GM keeping a close watch on our time and progress and offered some nudges to ensure we would be able to see the ending. 🧩 MISSED THE MARK One minor issue that we did encounter was that there was a cipher where the runes used on the puzzle didn’t exactly match the key provided which resulted in some confusion. 🏹 TAKE A SHOT? " Dragon Treasure " was an excellent family friendly game. Escape Legends is passionate about escape rooms, and it displays through their room design. The set of the room had an immersive feel from the stone walls to the leather scrolls. The puzzles were creative and had a mix of challenges. We played with 4 adults and 2 kids which worked well for the non-linear beginning to allow everyone to be busy at the start but there were a few times, we found too many people were in each other’s way. We found 4 people would have been just right. Cooper has gone cold. The FBI has one final chance to find the lost money, an apartment they believe belongs to Cooper. Sending in their best detectives, you and your group are tasked to investigate the apartment and see if you can find the stolen money. 🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE The room was a combination of tech and non-tech, which worked with some clever props and puzzles. The set design had the right amount of detail. There was not too much to distract us with red herrings but enough that we felt immersed. For any fans of D.B Cooper and the story behind him, there are a lot of easter eggs hidden in the room and puzzles. Though all the puzzles were solid, there was one puzzle that stood out to us with a great eureka moment and was quite satisfying when solved. 🧩 MISSED THE MARK This was a solid room overall with no major misses 🏹 TAKE A SHOT? " DB Cooper " was a well-designed room. The owners are very passionate about escape rooms and you can tell through the conversation with them and the little details in the room. The puzzles left us all satisfied as we solved them without any of them feeling like they overstayed their welcome. The room design had the right amount of immersion as well. This would be a great room for beginners and anyone who is a fan of the D.B. Cooper case. We played with 3 people and felt there could be room for a few more. Can you get deputized and take down the group before it is too late? 🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE The theme and story were executed perfectly. Though simple, the story and room flowed together and had some great ways to incorporate us into it. All the puzzles were clued well and had a good mix of everything, from puzzle type to difficulty to tech and non-tech. The room was full of details and easter eggs from the events of Tombstone 1881, the inspiration for the room. If you follow along closely, names, maps and even some answers all had hidden meanings. The ending was fantastic and was a neat way to wrap it all up. A small but nice touch was the confirmation we got whenever we completed a tech puzzle. 🧩 MISSED THE MARK This game was fantastic with no major misses. 🏹 TAKE A SHOT? " Tombstone " was a step back in time to the year 1881 when we walked in with the western theme décor from the saloon doors, western wallpaper, wanted posters and more. There were so many high points in the game from the well clued puzzles with great eureka moments, the historical images and references sprinkled throughout to the clever ending that tied the game together. The designer’s passion for the room is evident as we navigated through. We played with 2 adults and 2 kids and found it worked well as a family friendly room where the kids were able to solve some puzzles on their own and participate in a lot of it. Anyone who is into a western themed escape room or clever puzzles should absolutely play this room. We can’t wait to see what else Escape Legends has in store for the future.
