"The Sword of Drakul" is a digital point-n-click game played over Telescape. You can explore the virtual room in 3D, click on items of interest and solve the puzzles by interacting with padlocks or objects. There not much of an inventory system in this game like the other ones we've played. You won't be able to collect or find a lot of things. Most items that are useful can be clicked on as a visual clue. Interactive components are either to open a lock or trigger an action by clicking the right sequence.

The puzzles were intuitive and fun to execute. They made well use of this virtual platform to create puzzles that normally wouldn't be possible. Some will require audio (if you mute your game, you can still hear part needed for the puzzle), some memory and some logic. Some puzzles might even need assistance from a teammate in order to reach the solution by communication. If you are playing as a solo player, you might just have to take a screen shot in order to use it with that particular puzzle (but there are instructions in the description to help you out).
There was also a puzzle that could be quite confusing. I have also voiced out to the designer, but to prevent any spoilers, in case nothing was changed, do keep in mind to follow literally what you see, though it might all show the same thing! If you need hints, you can always use the self guided hints in Telescape to move on, so do not fret if you get stuck!
Compared to dozens of Telescape games out there, "The Sword of Drakul" proves to be a unique game that sets it apart from the others out there. Once the game loads, there will be a lengthy video with a cinematic storyline, music in the background and amazing graphics. This is not just a reproduction of a physical escape room, but a fantasy world that uses graphics and images to create the room. Hence, it can be seen that a lot of effort was put into creating this game.
I would say besides the minor issue regarding 1 puzzle mentioned above (which might have been fixed already at the time of writing), this is a well polished Point and Click game which most players would enjoy. For those who have played both The Alp and Detention, this was designed by the same designer, so if you like those games (like me), you will certainly enjoy "The Sword of Drakul"!
