📖 THE STORY

Tonight, our team will be sending off Missile Battery PR-79 for one last test before it goes fully operational in the AM. But something doesn’t seem right… we needed to figure out what was wrong so we could complete our mission.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The concept of splitting up the team at the beginning to communicate and pass on puzzle information was engaging.

  • There were some props truly authentic to the war era, including a testing device that we’ve never seen before and it was fun to see it in “action”.

  • In the latter part of the game, even though we didn’t get to experience this puzzle due to time, the device looked really intricate in design and seemed like a “sweat maker”.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • We didn’t feel the connection of the puzzle designs with the storyline. It felt more like we were at war and trying to defend ourselves from enemies. Some props in the room didn’t feel like they belonged in a bunker setting. The puzzles also felt somewhat out of place with the story.

  • There were a few puzzles that malfunctioned on that day and since we didn’t get an immediate response from the game master, we just continued to be confused on why nothing happened when we finally solved the puzzle that was meant for a group of 10 people (the game should have been set to be able to be played by 2 people as they are able to adapt accordingly but some miscommunication has left our game to be set to be played by 10 people on that day). So if you are booking with less people in the group, make sure you confirm with the game master before playing the game. *Update*: The manager did inform us after the game that all the malfunctioning devices have been fixed.

  • Some props and set design needed an update as they felt worn out and at times it was hard to read the clues. We also did not get to see the full effect of lights or sound due to the malfunctioning (if there were any).

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

We can’t really give a straight up recommendation for this room being that we only had 30 minutes play time and the rest was a quick walk-through from the game master. We will say that this definitely felt like a difficult room so go with a big group. If you like working with mechanics and war themed puzzles, you should give this room a go.

🔎 HINT

Continue onwards from that point, don’t start from the beginning.

Additional Info

  • Street Parking

  • Up a flight of stairs (no elevator)

  • Lobby with waiting area & merchandise for sale

  • We only had about 30min to play the game as we were late for the booking time. We had a quick walk-through with the game master so this game is based on an incomplete experience.

We don't want to go into detail and ruin any surprises for you, but if you'd like more information on the room, feel free to email us.
