🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • How will an interview start? This room doesn't have a live actor but the starting point of the game was quite unique.

  • There was a pleasant surprise to how one of the clues was embedded.

  • Our favorite part of the game was the final task. The prop had a cool design where it wasn't just a normal obstacle but lots of different ones combined.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • There was a pretty obvious prop that was just in the room for decor but because it was operatable, it felt like a red herring. We suggest either adding a puzzle or removing the functionality on the prop.

  • There was a puzzle that had no directions on the ordering of the input. We were told later it was because an initial design had malfunctioned. We suggest remodifying this puzzle and giving it some reasoning behind the arrangement.

  • A final part of the challenge lacked clarity as to why we couldn't find the clue on something we needed to do. Moreover, after we took a guess and completed the puzzle, the timer didn't stop. So we were confused as to if the gamemaster could hear or see us in the control room.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

This room was built on the idea of giving the players many tasks that revolved around a security company. Some tasks made us feel that way (especially ones that involved disassembling something) but some didn't feel related to the theme. A few clues also were ambiguous. The interview idea for an escape room is quite uncommon. We hope by ironing out a few kinks in the puzzles, this could become a solid game.
