📖 THE STORY
On a stormy night in Cold Harbour, Sir Clifford Smith is found murdered and the Smith family heirloom is missing. According to family legend, whoever possesses the heirloom controls the family’s fate and fortunes. You and your group have been hired to discover who the killer is and find the missing heirloom?
🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
The room was designed to look like an old traditional study and library with the dark wood look and vintage drawings on the wall. There were a lot of beautiful details in the set design.
There was a large variety of puzzles with clever use of props, both for inputting the solutions and to play with for puzzle solving. The quality of the props were also top notch.
Every time we solved a puzzle, we got feedback and direction on what had been unlocked.
The ending was satisfying once we solved the mystery (mostly…)
One small detail that we loved was the “rotary” phone. It had push buttons for dialing but would make the classic clicking rotary noise, a nice old fashion touch mixed with modern technology.

"Deadly Inheritance" was a great experience that kept us engaged from start to finish. The room offered a nice variety of puzzles, some that allowed us to work together and others with some fun reveals. The murder mystery story was also well done, where we had to piece together the killer, murder weapon, date and where the killer went. Our group of 4 enthusiasts solved the room at a comfortable pace but the room could fit 6 people and still have a good time. Anyone who is into solid puzzles or murder mystery games would enjoy this room. If you enjoy solid puzzles or murder mystery–style games, this room is definitely worth checking out.
