"Invicta" is a FREE digital escape game created by a blogger but also a veteran puzzle maker. The game started with an entertaining video message from Professor Julius Invicta. The professor thinks that Doctor Aiden Medway and his evil Deleter Robots are set out to delete events from the past so the world can run purely on technology. Our mission is to help the professor to secure these historical moments before they get deleted forever!
The puzzles were embedded in various historical events or places. It was fun to learn about the history behind some of these railways, castles, etc...We really liked the creativity behind the relevance of the answers to the puzzles as they lead to the beginning of the next story. One thing we wish that could've been better was the interface. Whenever we had to enter an answer, a new window would have to open, leaving us with many tabs at the end of the game. It also was causing a bit of delay in loading the game. Other than these minor issues, we really enjoyed a game that was not only able to entertain us with the puzzles but also was able to provide us with additional knowledge that we were unaware of prior to the game. Thanks Nick for providing a FREE game during this difficult period for everyone.
