🎭  THE EXPERIENCE

We had an absolutely amazing time visit to Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, as Hamburg was one of the exciting stops on our Europe Cruise aboard the Emerald Princess! Getting there was a breeze; we hopped on a bus from the cruise port and found it without a hitch. If you have a bit more flexibility with your schedule, aim for a weekday visit to dodge the crowds, especially on cruise port days and weekends.

The venue is super easy to navigate with plenty of signs guiding you straight to the entrance. It's located on the second floor, but we didn't spot any elevators. As soon as you check in, you'll be greeted by a delightful gift shop. I’d recommend doing your shopping at the end so you’re not carrying bags as you explore the exhibit. Make sure to hang onto your tickets, as you'll need to scan them again when you leave. There are numerous seating areas throughout, but they’re mainly in the food courts, and the seats are whimsically designed like the inside of an airplane!

The exhibits are organized by country, and although not every country is represented (we were a bit disappointed not to find any Asian countries), there are plenty of famous landmarks from around the world, like the Coliseum, Las Vegas, the Swiss Alps, and more! What's truly amazing about this place is that every few minutes, you get to experience the night view of these landmarks. The effort put into the details of these miniature buildings and people is incredible. We were constantly "wowed" by the intricate details we saw throughout the exhibit!

You'll love the buttons on the sides of the exhibits—press one, and something amazing happens! When we visited the Lindt factory, we got real chocolate! Another one of our favorite exhibits was when the plane actually took off from the runway!

This place might seem small from the outside, but surprise—it's actually 4 floors of excitement! You'll absolutely be able to spend a few thrilling hours here, especially if you're eager to play with all the interactive buttons. One of the coolest things we enjoyed was watching the control room in action. You can actually see the employees "fixing" or controlling various actions happening within the exhibits.

If you find yourself with a couple of hours to spare in Hamburg, we absolutely recommend checking out this place! It's a blast for both kids and adults! For a seamless experience, grab your tickets in advance, especially on busy days, so you can skip the line and dive right into the fun!

Note: VR experience is not included in the admissions fee.

Geometry Dash helps players improve their time management and reflexes. You only have a split second to jump, fly or change shape – and if you are a little slow, you have to start over. This is what makes the game so attractive and highly “addictive”.
