After watching the morning news and reading the letter from gallery's president, you know this is going to be an urgent matter. The only material you have to work with is a map of the gallery, a brochure, a crime scene photo and a souvenir bookmark from the gift shop. If you need further assistance, solve the puzzle on the brochure to gain access to the hints and solutions.

Unlike the last chapter, the puzzles in this game is essentially a multi-layered meta puzzle. It's crucial for you to find the first step or else you might feel lost. Since the storyline is build on discovering clues within the museum, the creators artfully utilized the floor plan and paintings to embed the puzzles within the game. Some parts were pretty difficult since there were a lot of correlations and interpretations you had to make with mostly text. One puzzle could also be challenging for people with colorblindness. But when we finally tied everything together, it was such a satisfying feeling.

I love the concept of using art to make puzzles. It literally changes our perspective on how we SEE things. The introduction of various famous painting and the audio tour within the museum added an aspect of educational content into the game. I really enjoyed reading about the history and the value behind these artwork. Just when we thought we figured out who's behind all this, Scarlet Envelope gave us yet another surprising twist in the ending. I can't wait for our next adventure!
