This is the third game in The Escape Game's TEG Unlocked series. Here are the past reviews we've done on "TEG 1 & 2" and their FREE game "Hanna Unlocked".

It is the year 1990. We've been informed by International Reconnaissance (AIR) agency that one of their scientist, Dr. Humphreys went rogue. He's currently performing dangerous genetic experiments off of the radar. We need to catch him before it's too late!

Similar to the previous TEG games, we received an access code and as soon as we entered it in the portal, an intro video started. The interface was quite easy to use and looked like a computer desktop screen from back in the 90s. There were times we noticed that some buttons didn't work or screen went blank but if you refresh the page, it'll start to work again (we've reported this issue to the creators). If you missed information in the video, an email was provided to inform you on what your current objective was. Every time when we finished an objective/puzzle, another video would play giving us a summary of what the agency was able to do with the intel we provided for them and what our next mission would be. We quite liked this type of design as it gave us a breather in between puzzles and also connected the story line with less reading materials (although if you chose to read, the emails would give you that option).

The puzzles revolved around different science subjects like biology, chemistry, etc...There was no need to know any high school science from school (whew!) to solve these puzzles. Many were logic, deduction, pattern recognition, etc. We enjoyed all of the puzzles except for one which we thought could use more clarification with the clues. By now we've kind of noticed a trend to the ending of TEG games...My question is will we ever catch the bad guy? I guess we'll have to wait till the next episode to find out...

(If you do decide to try this game, please remember to let them know that you heard it from"ESCAPETHEROOMers"!)
