🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The brilliant actors that accompanied and participated in the story brought the game to another level. If you were willing to interact with them, they were happy to interact with you. Each actor also stayed in character as they gave subtle hints and nudges throughout the game.

  • Each room was set up in a non-linear manner which allowed for a lot of do for everyone. The puzzles were all also big enough that more than one person could contribute at a time.

  • Being built in one of the towers of Casa Loma, the puzzles were themed well to the story as well as some of the props were cleverly made to blend into the tower décor.

  • The puzzles were a solid mix of tech of non-tech with a few padlocks along the way which never felt out of place.

  • Each room had progressed us to a different location and area of Casa Loma’s tower which made for nice separation throughout the game.

  • The final puzzle made sure everyone was involved and made for a great finish.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • The amount of people vs. how much there is to do in the room could feel lopsided at times. There were some puzzles that could take people a shorter time to complete than others, which would result in some standing around and watching for some.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

This game was a fun blend of escape room and immersive experience. There was a range of tech and non tech puzzles with very minimal padlocks. The flow of the game and how they incorporated the story worked well with the environment. The actors playing the characters and guiding you though was the highlight of the game. Anyone who is a fan of immersive experiences, actors in escape rooms and World War II would have a great time in the game.

Since it is a public booking, if you want to see more of the puzzles, then look for a time with less people. Though, we did play with 10 people and even with this full crowd, we had a great experience playing this game. This would also be a fun, casual experience for many friends if you are willing to book out the whole game. Onwards, upwards, together we win!
