Welcome to your first day as a Zookeeper trainee. Today, Zookeeper Jones will guide you through a fast-paced training program with puzzles and tests to teach you about our zoo animals. By the end, you'll see if you have what it takes to be a top-tier zookeeper. Prepare for Tacoma's thrilling escape room experience, inspired by Point Defiance Zoo!

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
The storyline was clearly defined from the start, allowing us to understand precisely what was required to complete our zookeeper training. The five distinct areas of the zoo were well-marked, and there was a single input station that we needed to return to in order to complete each set of tasks.
Each area featured different types of puzzles, with varying levels of linearity, providing players the option to collaborate or adopt a "divide and conquer" approach.
The creator made a concerted effort to engage all five senses in the puzzles, enhancing the enjoyment of the experience, particularly for children.
Despite being a single-room game, the creator effectively utilized available resources to delineate the different areas of the zoo.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
It would be beneficial to create divisions within this room to enhance the experience of entering new spaces, adding both satisfaction and an element of mystery. For example, the birds could be housed in a large aviary with a secure lock perhaps?
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
While this game is designed for children or beginners, we found it to be quite enjoyable. We completed it swiftly and had plenty of time remaining, as the puzzles were well-designed and flowed smoothly. It would be interesting to see an adult version with more challenging puzzles or additional adjustments. The whole experience made us feel young again, and we were super pumped to earn the badge with ease!
