If you guys haven't watch the movie Enola Holmes yet, definitely go watch it on Netflix now! Millie Bobbie Brown did a great job portraying her character and we felt engaged the entire time. This print & play game came out at the same time as the movie. You do not need to watch the movie in order to play this game but it might be more fun to recognize the references in the game from the movie.
For this game you'll need a printer (the graphics were great but you might be wasting a lot of ink so do decide which are the MUST print puzzles), a mirror, and a pair of scissors. The goal of the game was to follow Enola's footsteps through the streets of London and eventually catch up to her to discover a surprise!
If you watched the film, you'll recognize the usage of the newspaper in the puzzles. It was a great way to connect the puzzle pieces and eventually evolve into a meta puzzle. We really enjoyed the "detective vibe" that it gave off since there were definitely moments of searching, investigating and visualizing throughout the journey. The puzzles were not difficult and you could definitely play this with your kids. Perhaps they might even see some clues that you might have missed!
(If you do decide to try this game, please remember to let them know that you heard it from"ESCAPETHEROOMers"!)
