Our second stop in Delaware is at Axxiom Escape Rooms (an Exodus Company) in Newark. They also have two other locations - Wilmington & Rehoboth Beach. They have plenty of rooms to choose from, but the one that we are trying today is "Pirates Cove". As soon as we arrived, there was plenty of parking right outside the facility. The lobby area was quite spacious and the decor was extremely vibrant (it reminded me of the Joker's hideout). The room design was cleverly constructed with a good mix of technological and traditional puzzles. The storyline was definitely entertaining and kept us engaged the whole time. Our game master was great and extremely helpful. With one of the puzzles we managed to bypass a step and take the easier route. It would be great if they could somehow prevent that from happening so that the player can get the full experience. Other than that, we both had a lot of fun and managed to escape with time to spare.
