It’s 2035, and your fate is in the balance. As a convicted meta-criminal, you’ve been selected for Project R.E.S.E.T., an experimental rehabilitation program designed to determine whether you’ve truly learned from your past mistakes and are ready to be reintegrated back into society. Complete the program successfully, and freedom awaits. Fail…and you’ll find yourself right back where you started.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
A refreshingly unusual game mechanic: Project R.E.S.E.T. has excellent execution of an unusual game mechanic, pulling it off in ways that are unexpected and occasionally frustrating but ultimately have a big payoff. It ties beautifully into the theme and pays off with an endgame reveal that left us amazed and grinning.
Fantastic in-character performance: Our GM/actor nailed their performance: firm but never intimidating, robotic yet with flashes of humor. We also very much appreciated brief moments of leniency to keep us moving forward.
Distinct futuristic aesthetic: The environment walks a fascinating line between sleek sci-fi and realistic nostalgia, like a mix of a futuristic facility, corporate training room, and retro-futurist dreamscape. Every surface and sound feels deliberate, creating an immersive, quirky “rehabilitation” atmosphere.
Playful moments: Expect a few delightful surprises that shift the tone from sterile to silly at just the right moments. We love a room that can make you laugh, groove, and strategize all in the same sequence!
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
Tablet troubles: We were provided a tablet to help track our progress and access additional info. However, we never found or used that extra content, and the steps for applying our saved work were sometimes unclear.
Finicky Function: One challenge proved a bit too sensitive. It was sensitive enough that two players performing the same steps had different outcomes.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
"Project R.E.S.E.T." delivers an excellent blend of challenge, creativity, and immersion that shows why it earned a spot on the 2023 TERPECA Top Rooms list. It’s a game that rewards attention, adaptability, and teamwork, wrapped in a quirky, somewhat video game-esque sci-fi setting.
While not ideal for first-time players, enthusiasts will find plenty to love in its innovation, puzzle design, and immersive presentation. It’s another excellent example of Immersia’s ability to merge solid mechanics, plenty of tech, story-driven worldbuilding, and a dash of delightfully unexpected humor. So go prove your worth, citizen…your freedom (and fun) depend on it.

The space itself has two main waiting areas (including some comfy sofas/chairs), game trailers to watch as you wait, lockers, bathrooms, and a few things for sale.
