Rather than presenting this blog as a review, I prefer to offer you a list of tips for visiting this location, as I believe this will be more beneficial.
Download the Meow Wolf app before your visit. If you're a foreign visitor, you might not find the app in your store, as our friends from the UK experienced. In such cases, you can share the experience with others who have the app. When using the app, ensure you select the correct location, as information from their other Texas location may also appear.
Be sure to use the restroom before entering the venue, as the one inside is quite challenging to locate.
The first location you'll enter is the radio station, where you'll uncover the majority of the story. Take your time to thoroughly explore this area. Additionally, every fifteen minutes, a giant energy burst emanates from the forested area into the radio station, making it a must-see event.

Maps are not provided at the venue because the intention is for you to explore the labyrinth. This exploration is an integral part of the experience. However, within the App, you'll find an icon called "Psychic Sensor." This feature allows you to track which of the 19 rooms you've visited, effectively serving as a checklist.

In the app, you'll find an interactive bot named "Dug," your Brain Bean Guide. As you explore the exhibit, keep an eye out for hidden Brain Beans containing words. Text these words to Dug, and you'll earn a sprout as a reward. To claim your reward, simply show the final image at the gift shop.
Cowboix Hevvven is their bar and restaurant, an establishment brimming with immersive art that marries the charm of a honky-tonk watering hole with Meow Wolf's distinctive creativity and characters. The menu is designed to amplify and mirror the atmosphere, providing a place where visitors to Meow Wolf’s worlds in Houston can indulge in extraordinary Texan hospitality and comfort food. Beyond the bar door, you'll discover the venue's sole bathroom on the inside.

With your ticket, you can confidently spend the entire day until closing, but please be aware that reentry is not permitted.
When you enter a new area, your APP might send you an alert, so keep an eye out. It could be a task to interact with someone or something you can complete for a delightful surprise. For example, Dug might instruct you to press a specific sequence on the vending machine, and suddenly, it will perform a rap song! There's also a sequence you can enter into the cat radio transmitter to make it do amusing things. The secrets are waiting for you to uncover.

You absolutely must check out the arcade in the venue! It features some classic favorites, and the best part is, there's no extra cost!
The Theta Theater is an impressive venue space. Although there wasn't a performance during our visit, make sure to check out their show "Phenomenomaly" available from Nov 15 - Jan 4.
🤔 IN CONCLUSION
Upon checking in, you'll receive a brief introduction from a guide before embarking on your own exploration. While it might initially feel overwhelming, you'll quickly become adept. This venue emphasizes art installations over story or mission-based elements compared to others, and we didn't encounter many "puzzle" features. As escape room enthusiasts, it took us a moment to adjust, as the stunning set design led us to expect hidden clues everywhere. However, once we embraced a new perspective, the possibilities became endless. The vibrant colors, incredible acoustics, and interactive elements were so captivating that we didn't want to leave. Whether you're a child or an adult, you'll become a fan of Meow Wolf in no time! We're eagerly anticipating our visit to their Grapevine location in TX in the future!
