📖 THE STORY

A priest has called for your help to save an innocent young child from a demonic possession. Are you brave enough to succeed or at least not succumb to the demon yourself and lose your soul?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The full experience is based on the iconic movie from the 80’s The Exorcist, with a lot of references to memorable scenes that you have probably seen if you have watched the movie: the scenography is well done and very effective! You are fully immersed in the oppressive environment and the actress’ play has a lot to do with it! As a matter of fact, you will have many jump scares, some impressive performance and acting and will constantly wonder from where she will appear next time to try to grab you or your friends! A LOT of elements of surprise just waiting for you 😊

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • The set could be improved with additional decoration or efforts on details but globally it is OK as you will spend most of the time with very dimmed lights so you won’t be able to fully pay attention on that particular point.

  • There are many riddles designed for padlocks, removing a bit the immersive part (we would have loved more mechanisms to use instead, more role-play).

  • The riddles in themselves were not hard at all, it’s more like they are here to show your progression through the immersive experience.

  • Sound effects were very loud, at many times we needed to cover our ears because the screaming was too loud, it may be painful for people with ear sensitivity. And a lot of stroboscopic effects.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

Escape rooms in Athens are 95% horror based. Greek players are fond of jump scares, nice references to iconic horror movies, they want adrenaline more than solving puzzles. For them, immersion should be the top point to validate an escape room: you have actors and actresses that know their job, where and when to scare you in the most efficient way, every situation is calculated in advance for the most impact. Despite some negative points listed in the “missed the mark” section, I advise you to give a try to this room as the performance of the possessed little child is outstanding and No Exit Escape Rooms managed to perfectly combine her acting talent with a strong scenography.

ℹ️ ADDITIONAL INFO
