After our experience with two of the rooms offered at Tokyo Mystery Circus (by SCRAP) - “Escape from The Prison” and “Escape from the Toilet of Despair”, we headed over to another one of their locations - Real Escape Game Asakusa (by SCRAP) which was just a 4 minute walk from the Asakusa Station. SCRAP opened up their first escape room at this Asakusa location with two rooms (which now has three as of July 2018). You can see the growth between their first location in Asakusa in comparison to Tokyo Mystery Circus considering that this Asakusa location is extremely small. The staff mainly speaks Japanese but has English instructions printed on paper. The first room we decided to try is their infamous "Escape from The RED ROOM". Without giving away too much, this room was unlike anything that we have ever experienced (in a good way)! Talk about feeling immersed into a game with nothing but four walls.
ETR Overall rating: 8/10
(If you do decide to try this room, please remember to let them know that "ESCAPETHEROOMers" sent you!)
* We don't want to go into detail and ruin any surprises for you, but you want more info like if the room is a multi-room or what other additional tips we can provide to you, feel free to email us.
Disclosure: We thank Real Escape Game by SCRAP for comping our tickets for this game. Although complimentary admission was generously provided, it does not impact our opinion on the review whatsoever.
