📖 THE STORY
After the destructive fire at the home of the siblings Blackwire, Jason disappeared in the dark night. When the police start their investigation, they find two dead bodies, deceased long before the fire, buried in the garden. Jason is on the run and a real manhunt is underway. The neighborhood watch is asking for help in searching this community. It's up to your team to visit Priest Neville Morrisson’s home to see if Jason can be found. Neville Morrisson is an old but sweet man. He is almost blind and therefore asked you to search his house.
🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
The beginning of the game felt like the beginning of a theme park ride. We are led into a dark room and asked to watch a video detailing the story. As the story ends another set of doors opens and the game begins!
Entering into the actual game area was jaw dropping, the size and quality of what they have built is staggering. There is a full two-story house built inside this old Martini factory. The interior of the house is built with the highest details in mind, you would genuinely believe you were in some old American home from the 1940’s or such. There are multiple rooms, secret areas, and special effects that will keep you on your toes throughout.
The puzzles make use of the whole house and force teams to constantly move around, exploring, gathering data, and remembering what they have found. Using tools and information at different times and locations will be a common trend, as is the need to work as a team. This is a very engaging and interactive game.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
The only thing we could have asked for more of is immersion into the sinister world of Jason. We were never really scared or on edge during our time in the house, so finding a way to up the tension would really take this room to the next level. It was a shame that Jason never made an appearance himself.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
We regard this room to be one of the hottest new rooms in the Netherlands and suggest everyone try it. There is nothing too scary to detract people from giving this a try. The set design, coupled with immersive and thematic puzzles make this a solid choice!
