This is an avatar-led online escape game experience. There is no inventory system for this room and it actually doesn't really need one. Everything is straight forward and because the set design of this room delivers for Marvel fans, you won't want to miss anything. Marta was our avatar and she did a great job at letting us see the room in it's entirety. Normally, when I come across a theme that has a level of expectancy with the bar set really high, it's hard to be satisfied. But Inside Castlebar went over and beyond with the decor and the props. As a die hard Marvel fan, I truly appreciated the level detail and quality of the items in the room. Without being biased and judging purely based on the set design, I would still have the same level of satisfaction.
One thing that I was concerned about is if playing a Marvel Avengers-type of escape room would have a cheesy storyline. I'm so glad that Inside Castlebar decided to take a different approach and make the storyline more "realistic", rather than focus on the superheroes and their powers. The storyline was creative and our mission to prove ourselves worthy of becoming an Avenger made the experience more interactive.

"The Roomvengers" is one of those escape rooms that you wish you could play in-person. Although, playing the game remotely was a lot of fun, I don't think it compares to actually playing it in real life. There were some really unique puzzle designs that fit well with the storyline and the set design. Most of the puzzles were fairly easy which provided a nice game flow. We highly recommend this game for families to play with their kids. With that said, there were a couple of "wow" moments in the room that we didn't expect. I wouldn't mind just running around with Thor's hammer or Captain America's shield and do absolutely nothing.

This is the second game that we've played from Inside Castlebar, the first was - "The Restaurant". Both games were a lot of fun and completely different from each other. This just goes to show you that Inside Castlebar can deliver quality games with different types of themes for different players.
Although this type of escape room is dedicated towards the Marvel fans out there, anyone can play this game and still experience a wonderful time.

For this live avatar online escape room, we had the wonderful pleasure of being guided through this adventure by Marta! Filled with bits of humor and fun, this adventure "teleported" us into the training facility of a superhero headquarters. Once inside, we were treated to a variety of impressive props scattering the room. For die-hard Marvel fans, there will be a LOT to appreciate in this room. For those not so clued into the Marvel Universe, the game still progresses nicely - you just may not catch the many MANY Easter eggs strewn about. The room has a variety of lock and key puzzles, combo puzzles, and more tech-driven puzzles. I was impressed with how many different types of puzzles they had, and how creatively tricky and clever they were. No puzzle was too difficult, and there did not appear to be any logical leaps necessary - just a lot of fun. The immersiveness of the room and the elaborate props really brought this room to life. Whether online or in-person, this room is definitely a must-play. I absolutely recommend the Room-vengers!

Roomvengers is a superhero themed online escape room. Impending doom has meant that the secret agency responsible for recruiting new superheroes has had to drastically lower their standards for entry—lucky for us!
Prior knowledge about Marvel superheroes isn't required to play the room, but without some familiarity you may not fully appreciate all of the props and décor you encounter. Our team had some super fans, and that did make it more fun. During the game we encountered a few whizbang props, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well some of those 'wow' moments in the room came across over Zoom.
The puzzles were highly enjoyable. There was a nice assortment, and they were well clued to help us recognize what went with what. I would have loved a punchier introduction to the story. Playing online doesn't offer the immersive experience that actually walking into the room does, so a more purposeful briefing on the premise and our goals might have motivated us from the get go and made the ending more satisfying. I was so swept up in the puzzle solving that when the exit door opened, I thought, "Oh, are we done?" Maybe all this superhero business has gone to my head, but I was craving a bit more fanfare.
Overall, it was a very fun room. Wham! Kapow! Bam! I am now ready to claim my rightful place in the ranks of the greatest superheroes of all time.
