We loved that the Nassau, Bahamas now has their very own, first ever, escape room! "Blackbeard's Escape" is located inside the Pirate's Museum and for the time-being you'll have to go through that entrance in order to access the entrance to the escape room. There's one flight of stairs you'll have to climb up and there are no elevators. They don't have a reception area or waiting room, so the debriefing will take place right outside the game room before they bring you in. So if you arrive too early and it's hot, I would suggest checking out the museum or using the rest room. We were also privileged to be invited as their "beta-testers" for the lovely owners. Being that there's not that much resources on the island, they did a great job building this escape room to provide an immersive experience. Some clues were cleverly made with natural resources. This is going to be your classic key lock type of room. Although there's no tech involved, you can see the thought that was put into the storyline of the room. While we were playing, we did point out a few hazardous issues that the owners agreed needed to take necessary precautions. The puzzles aren't that difficult, so it'll be perfect for families with kids as well. We are excited to see what other rooms they'll develop when we plan our next trip to the Bahamas.

** UPDATE - We regret to inform you that "Blackbeard's Escape" has closed its doors.

Disclosure: We thank Blackbeard's Escape for inviting us to be their first beta testers for the game. Although complimentary admission was generously provided, it does not impact our opinion on the review whatsoever.
