"Agent Venture" is an audio escape game where a game master will host your group through a zoom meeting. This game can be played with a minimum of 4 people to a maximum of 5 people. When you book, you'll receive an email to chose different characters you can assign your teammates to. It's best to look the character's job description and determine who will best fit the position. There are 5 positions: Navigator, Hacker, Researcher, Communicator, and Coordinator. We played it with Escape Room Adventurer as a team of 4.

Our goal for the game was to infiltrate the BAD corporation's headquarter and retrieve evidence on their evil scheme and get our field agent out safely. Our game master was our control center and our field agent. He began by sending us documents that pertained to each character. At the beginning, we felt that the Hacker had a lot more things to do (e.g. solving puzzles) while we kind of waited on the side. But this also gave us more time to read through our materials. There were a good amount of materials we had to read through. It would be great if they could be formatted to bullet points so its easier to spot the different routes we could decide on since the game play is only 60 minutes so it was difficult to sift through everything on the spot. As time went on, other positions also became involved in the game.

There were many different paths that we could take to win the game and this makes the game re-playable if you wanted to try a different scenario by re-booking. Our paths was mixed with some easier routes and difficult routes according to our game master's debrief at the end. With that said, our field agent did a great job since he would have to come up with responses to our suggestions almost instantaneously. As puzzle people, we yearned for more puzzle types and quantity. But we understand this game was designed to have more of an adventure & RPG kind of feel. It was still a lot of fun since we were able to show our individual strength and worked well as a team to saved our agent with 2:41 seconds left on the clock!
