📖 THE STORY

The famous Dr Grant recently succeeded in creating a new compound that can enhance people’s IQ. You and your friends see this as an opportunity to make a lot of money quickly, the only thing you need is to enter his lab and steal the compound. Easy task, right? Unfortunately, Dr Grant is as twisted as he is smart so this won’t be that easy. Be prepared to face many traps and avoid neurotoxic chemicals while attempting this heist!

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

The set is pretty immersive and relatable to the laboratory landscape. Globally, the interactions with the different items needed to solve puzzles are in line with the theme and pretty intuitive.
No padlock, only mechanisms to play with!
Some effects are used to mimic hallucinations due to the neurotoxin trap set by Dr Grant and it’s pretty cool overall.
Your team can perform several tasks simultaneously, which is very welcome with large group of players.
The last puzzle is very well designed for co-op.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

The pace of the game is well designed as we regularly see/experiment new “feelings” due to the hallucinations. Other than that, the puzzles are pretty common in the end.
The scenario is a bit light, there is no real backstory.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

Overall, it’s a very nice experience, and the way the creators built the room to make us feel like we are hallucinating is well done. The effects we experience are going crescendo and the finale leaves us on a good note. Would definitely recommend it.

ℹ️ ADDITIONAL INFO

There are some parking spots 200m from the venue, but usually I would strongly recommend to move in Paris using public transportation, way more convenient (you can access the venue with the Metro Lines 3, 4, 8 and 9 ("Reaumur-Sebastopol" station or "Strasbourg Saint-Denis" station).
Pregnant women and people suffering from epilepsy cannot play this room unfortunately. For people with physical disabilities, it may be difficult to access as you will need to take stairs to reach the room, and you will need to be with at least one person with no disability for some manipulations in game. There is a small lobby and you will be offered drinks if you need. You can relax on a couch or chairs if needed.
