🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • Traveling has always been one of my passions, and I've had my fair share of flights over the years. However, the level of immersion I experienced in this room was unlike anything I'd encountered before. From the moment we entered, every detail, from the subtle motions to the faithful recreation of the plane's fuselage, worked together seamlessly to create an incredibly realistic simulation.

  • While the storyline may not have been strictly followed throughout the game, it gradually unfolded as we progressed, adding depth and intrigue to the overall experience. As we delved deeper into the mystery, the sense of urgency heightened, culminating in a thrilling final puzzle that left us on the edge of our seats.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • The puzzles in this game can be quite daunting, making it the second hardest game at 13th Gate Escape. And unfortunately, the difficulty level may not appeal to everyone. Many of the puzzles require intricate logic and thorough reading, which might leave some players feeling frustrated or overwhelmed.

  • Furthermore, the immersive nature of the fuselage setting comes with its own set of drawbacks. Navigating through the cramped space can be cumbersome and challenging, reminiscent of the cramped confines of a real airplane. The narrow aisles and tightly packed rows of seats make movement difficult, and even the bathroom feels uncomfortably realistic in its compact size.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

The immersion factor in this room is truly astonishing, setting a high standard compared to other airplane-themed escape games I've experienced. However, this is where the praises end and the critiques begin. While the set design is impeccable, the puzzles leave much to be desired. Some puzzles were logical and solvable, but others left us scratching our heads, wondering how the answers were derived.

One particularly frustrating aspect was a puzzle that required us to search through hundreds of similar items to find a specific one. This tedious task dampened our enthusiasm, especially when the hint provided by the game master didn't quite alleviate our confusion.

Despite our valiant efforts, our group technically did not succeed in escaping within the allotted time. However, our game masters kindly extended our gameplay by a few seconds so we could witness the conclusion. This room definitely falls on the harder side of escape rooms, so don't hesitate to ask for hints if you find yourselves stuck.

In conclusion, while the set design of this room is truly immaculate, the puzzles and overall immersion could use some refinement. With a bit of tweaking and fine-tuning, this game has the potential to be an exceptional escape room experience.
