The staff was very friendly. We originally booked another room but last minute there was a huge family group that came in and we really didn't want to be the two people to join their group of eight, so the staff was able to put us alone in "The Pirate's Chamber" room instead and we had a great time. There's really no limit to the hint system here, the game master would provide clues if they see that you are stuck. We escaped with good time left for this room so it's definitely playable with two people. There wasn't that many puzzles to be solved so if you have more than two people you might get out much faster. The design of the room stuck with theme but in in terms of how immersive it feel, we would say it needed a bit more decor. There wasn't that much technology incorporated, but they definitely implemented a few creative usage of puzzle pieces that we haven't seen before. Overall, we had fun and would come back to try another room soon.
