📖 THE STORY
This is where it all began. The starting point of John Hayden’s Farmhouse. We were sent into John’s room to find out who he is planning to kill next. Will we be able to get out in time or be his next victim?
🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
Simple, yet fun puzzles.
Game flow was smooth throughout.
Even though this was the first room they designed, the décor is still very consistent in terms of quality.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
We escaped but did not feel that we accomplished our mission. We are unsure who his next victim is and why the final puzzle freed us from the room. It would be great if that could be incorporated into the story line.
Some props did feel a bit worn in compared to his other rooms. This one could use a bit of updating.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
The puzzles in this room are much easier since it is the “starting” room. However, we did have a lot of fun even as enthusiasts as some were still quite clever the way they were designed. Two people can definitely take on this room if you have played escape rooms before. In comparison to their other rooms, this one had the least tech involved. It is also their smallest room in terms of square footage so ideally 4 would be a comfortable fit. If you want to tackle a few rooms at 13th hour and want to warm up first, this is a great room to start your journey.
Take a look from another perspective.
