"Doctor Who: The Hollow Planet" is another Print-and-Play product from Escape Hunt. Not all the print-n-play uses the same style of game play so make sure to check our reviews and see which one you prefer. In this game, besides the PDF game packet, you will need an email to send a 'message' across, in order to proceed on with the second half of the game.

The initial task is pretty straightforward. There are 6 facilities in each other representing 6 different puzzles. After solving them, you will receive encoded symbols. Hence, by completing all 6 areas, you might just be able to find out what you'll need to do next. This is where the email component will come handy.

As per Escape Hunt's usual standard, there will be some cutting and folding involved and some puzzles that can be solved logically. Something new that I have seen in this edition is that you will need a set of color pencils. If you don't have this perhaps you can use your computer and fill in the areas digitally on the PDF.

This game was the most difficult one I found out of the ones I've played. I felt that certain puzzles need clarification on what needed to be done. If you require hints, you can visit a specially designed website where they will provide tips on how to solve the puzzles. However, these tips are written ' in character' (meaning it is also vague and not straightforward). They will only tell you what you need to do, but there are no answers or images, especially for those cutting/folding puzzles. Hence, it got a little confusing as there isn't a true way to check your answers. Luckily, you know the answer to each puzzle (at least for the beginning). So if you are stuck even after seeing the hints, perhaps keep a lookout for symbols = Letter will help a little in seeing your solution. If you are looking for a challenge, I will go for this game, otherwise definitely warm up with their other game selections!
