📖 THE STORY

The Cadavera name is shrouded in dark history, as their family's wealth was built upon the forbidden arts and black magic that was practiced on the sacred grounds where the Ezkapaz Manor was built. The manor was even used as a sanctuary for the cult called "Opus Luminum".

At the center of the manor lies a mysterious office that was once closed off to the public, but now visitors have the opportunity to explore the room that some consider cursed. It is up to the visitors to uncover the truth behind the legends and determine if there is any validity to the rumors.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The EZKAPAZ manor provides an immersive experience from the moment you step onto the property. The venue is designed to transport you into a world filled with unique characters and elegant decor. Upon arrival, a tenant from the manor greets your group and checks you in, making sure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The servant stays in character for the entire experience and adds to the overall immersion of the game.

  • The room's lighting is a standout feature, as it is well-designed and enhances both the visibility of necessary items and the overall atmosphere of the game. It's clear that the designers put effort and care into this aspect of the room.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • Although the puzzles in the game were well designed and provided a decent challenge, they didn't necessarily feel like they were integral to the storyline or adding depth to the experience.

  • The venue does an excellent job of immersing players in the world of the game, the hint system may not live up to the same standard of immersion. The hint system is similar to what you might find in other escape rooms, However, this does not detract significantly from the overall experience and enjoyment of the game.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

"Opus Luminum" is a game that excels in providing an immersive experience for its players. From the moment you walk up the stairs to the Ezkapaz manor, you are transported into a whole new world. The attention to detail in the set design is impressive, and the lighting creates an atmosphere that perfectly complements the game's storyline.

The puzzles themselves are well-designed and challenging, but not so difficult that they become frustrating. There are some intriguing observation puzzles that require careful examination of the room and its contents. These puzzles not only test your problem-solving skills but also add to the overall game.

Overall, "Opus Luminum" is a recommended game for those looking for a unique and challenging escape room experience. The immersion, solid puzzles, and intriguing story make it a truly enjoyable game that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
