🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
The set design of "The Cabin" was incredible. From approaching on to the porch to inside the wooden cabin, we felt fully immersed in the atmosphere. The sound system was great too.
There were no live actors in the room but due to the design of the room, we constantly thought someone was in there with us or there was a pair of eyes “watching”. We felt jumpy every time when lighting and thunder hit.
The story was told through the puzzles and had a nice flow.
Another special lighting effect during the latter part of the game gave me goose bumps when it happened.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
We escaped not knowing that we were outside the room already. But we got confused because we didn’t open a certain lock yet, so we thought the game didn’t end yet. The game master came in and congratulated us. She said we didn’t need to solve that particular puzzle and can still escape. That was very confusing to us.
We were never explained prior to going into the room that there was a bonus puzzle. So, since we had plenty of time left when we “escaped”, we went back in and continued to play until we solved the bonus puzzle. This is the first time we escaped and went back in to continue to play the game.
A clearer conclusion would be great.
We were able to get out of the room quite quickly. We felt like we wanted to be in there longer to enjoy the beautiful set design. If the level of difficulty could be adjusted for different types of groups that would be great.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
If you enjoy immersive room designs and are a horror fan, get a group of brave souls together and give this room a try. Our recommended size for this room is 2-4 people. This is our second time back at Number One Escape Room. Red Riding Hood was one of our very first rooms when we started playing escape rooms and we loved it. We hope to return to try their more challenging rooms in the near future as they currently have 7 rooms to choose from.

I love how this escape room review captures that eerie feeling of being watched even when no one else is in the room—that's the mark of truly immersive set design. The detail about the porch and the wooden cabin really makes me want to try "The Cabin" myself, especially since my group is always looking for atmospheric challenges. We've been planning a game night with friends, and this description has convinced me to book a session soon. For organizing our team's visit and any follow-up puzzles we want to create at home, I actually found a handy tool that turns our spreadsheet lists into QR codes for quick access. It's a CSV QR code generator that makes sharing clues or…
I love how this review captures the feeling of being watched in "The Cabin"—that's exactly the kind of detail that makes an escape room stick with you long after you leave. The set design and sound really do half the work, don't they? It reminds me of how much atmosphere matters in creative spaces, whether it's a room or a song. If you're ever looking to set a mood for your own projects, I've found that generating a custom soundtrack can add that same layer of immersion. Musefy is a fun way to experiment with that idea. Thanks for sharing such a vivid walkthrough! For anyone who wants to explore this further, AI Music Generator may also be a useful…
I love how this review captures the feeling of being watched in "The Cabin" — that kind of atmospheric tension is so hard to pull off without live actors. The sound design and set details clearly did a lot of heavy lifting, and it sounds like the team nailed the immersion from the moment you step onto the porch. It makes me want to book a session just to experience that creeping unease for myself. If you're like me and you take photos during escape rooms to remember the night, you might want to run them through Metadata Cleaner before sharing, just to keep the location and time details private. Anyway, thanks for the detailed write-up — it definitely sold…
Wow, your description of "The Cabin" escape room really pulled me in—I could almost feel the storm closing in and that eerie sense of being watched. It sounds like the set design and sound system did an amazing job of creating that immersive, spine-tingling atmosphere. If you ever want to edit any photos or screenshots from your adventure to share with friends or on social media, you might find Photo & Screenshot Text Editor really handy for adding text or touching things up. I know I’d love to see some of those cabin interior shots with a fun caption!
I love how immersive “The Cabin” sounds—that constant feeling of being watched must have been intense. It makes me want to capture my own escape room experiences on video to share with friends. That’s where something like a free online video converter comes in handy for quickly converting clips to a shareable format. I’ll definitely keep AI-FFmpeg in mind for that next time I need to edit and share a fun adventure.
