📖 THE STORY

You have one hour to find a way to gain access and unearth its treasure before Atlantis disappears into the abyss once more...

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • Most of the puzzles were designed to trigger something (this room is pretty much all tech) in a city that has been lost under the ocean for a long time.

  • The colors implemented into the set design had a nice ambience that went well with the ocean theme.

  • There was a clear ending to the finale and we felt the victory.

  • We had an "aha" moment with one of the puzzles that had a multi-step solve that they had to redesign from the previous puzzle.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • Since the space for this room at this location is quite small, designing a difficult music puzzle within the game doesn't seem to be fitting. While other players are talking about other puzzles, it was quite difficult to hear, let alone memorize multiple musical notes.

  • Some puzzles (for example, the one mentioned above) would take up most of the time in the room and can only be solved by one person at a time while the other players would be lingering around waiting to progress. This isn't the type of puzzle the GM can really hint on either, so your team would either have to decide on bypassing this puzzle or risk not escaping in time.

  • Some music for ambience would've been nice to have in the room.

  • There was a puzzle later on that didn't really give clear instructions on the placement of certain props. This made us not able to detect a certain "clue" that had revealed itself already. Some sound for confirmation would be nice.

  • The audio message in the room needs to be more clear, so we can hear the directions given by the character.

  • The final prop should really have a light source as it was hard to detect where to discover it when we finally opened it at the end.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

If you have a group of more than 3-4 people, I definitely recommend playing this game at their Atlantic City location (it's much more spacious). If you are a player that enjoys more physical puzzles and have a good ear for music, you might just be the lucky one to find that secret treasure that lies within Atlantis!
