📖 THE STORY

You are rats, working for Rat Industries, making money to feed your rat family and pay the rat bills. An unexpected virus sweeps through work, affecting the brains of some of the rats. To determine who is affected, Rat Industries will have you go through a series of tests. Pass the tests and you get to go home. Fail, and you will get (ex)terminated from Rat Industries.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

The puzzles were clever and offered a non-linear flow at times, were large scaled and required lots of collaboration. All this helped make sure everyone stayed busy and engaged.
The set design being a maze was a fun, creative experience. Having played other maze escape rooms before, this one was designed to allow people to pass each other rather than be very narrow which was well thought out.
Although the virus part of the story was a little worrying, the themed puzzles were family friendly and quite charming.
We appreciated that as a safety measure, the floor had arrows and tape to lead you out of the maze in case of emergency.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

There was nothing here that was a miss. This was a great room overall.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

Based on the theme, I was not sure whether the room would be designed as an office or a maze, but I was glad it was the latter because it made a big difference. The maze layout was well thought out, and the collaborative puzzles kept everyone engaged. The theme was fun to play through, and the rats in the maze concept worked really well. Our group of seven included both enthusiasts and newer players, which made for a great mix. This is a great choice for a team building activity, puzzle lovers, or anyone looking for an escape room that is a little different.
