Whenever we play a remote game with Escape One Algarve, there's always a sense of improvement and this time was no different. This horror themed zombie escape room had a few moments of dark comedy as well. Hopefully we'll be able to laugh till the end and get onto that final flight to take us out of this nightmare!

We were given a zoom link which was really only used for the introduction and the ending. The feed was clear throughout the game. Although the room had dim lighting, we were able to see everything quite well. The game was played over Telescape and it was the first time we saw that they were able to build in the live feed into the inventory portal. It would be easier if you duplicated a window for just the live feed and another for the inventory since toggling through them was confusing. This integration did allow them to have more control over the sound effects for the game. It definitely was an asset for the jump scare moments. The puzzles were medium level in terms of difficulty but we definitely complicated them a few times for ourselves. Our favorite puzzle was a physical one and this was actually quite difficult to do over Zoom. But Escape One Algarve was able to set it up in a way where the players felt like they were actually maneuvering it and not simply watching the avatar. The ending was a jaw-dropping moment for us. I guess you'll have to play it in order to find out why but boy were we glad we got onto that last flight!

*** This game can no longer be booked as a remote game but can still be booked as an in-person experience ***
