📖 THE STORY
As an assistant to the mortician at Georgetown Morgue, you were initially thrilled. However, your new boss soon gives you the creeps, prompting you to leave. When you attempt to exit, you find yourself locked inside the morgue...

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
The props, particularly the depiction of the deceased, were executed exceptionally well in the set design. Given their expertise in creating haunted environments, this was certainly expected.
There were several puzzles that ingeniously presented themselves to the players, requiring us to "view them" from a different perspective.
The set design, notably the morgue room with its drawers, was highly realistic. Each time we attempted to open one, we experienced a moment of hesitation and second thoughts.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
The atmosphere and lighting in the first and especially the last room do not adequately convey the eerie ambiance expected of a morgue. Given the designers' background in haunted house experiences, we anticipated a stronger "horror" vibe.
There is an element in the game that requires a taller individual to operate. At 5 feet tall, I was unable to reach it, so it's advisable to have someone taller in your group.
A physical puzzle required a significant amount of time and repetition to complete, which consumed a considerable portion of the gameplay.
At one point, we observed that our fourth player was relegated to a supportive role, as there was insufficient engagement for all participants. Considering the game mandates a minimum of four players, we expected puzzles that necessitated the involvement of that many people.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
If you appreciate an eerie atmosphere but find horror-themed rooms too frightening, this game might be ideal for you. Upon entering, we definitely sensed a hospital or laboratory-like vibe. However, there were no jump scares or changes in atmosphere or music, which was unexpected given the theme. The game could benefit from more innovative methods of "transporting" players between spaces, as the use of doors was quite obvious and lacked surprise elements. We did enjoy the placement of some hidden objects, as retrieving them required a degree of courage from the players. Additionally, a more developed storyline could enhance the thematic strength of the room.
