Video above is property of ESCAPETHEROOMers 🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE As we tumble down the rabbit hole, we find ourselves smack dab in the middle of a zany Wonderland the moment the door swings open. The walls are decked out in a riot of colors and clocks galore! This set design had our eyes popping and jaws dropping with all the delightful chaos happening at once. I adore the quirky critters sprinkled throughout this adventure, whether it's the teeny-tiny mouse, the melodious birds, or other wacky props scampering around in this "madcap" world. It definitely adds a sprinkle of magic to the mix. I must say, the main area of the game is a hoot, serving as the hub where you'll return to update your progress. Plus, there are a few "doors" (a nod to the Alice in Wonderland theme) that lead to different worlds, offering players plenty of surprise moments. 🧩 MISSED THE MARK Given that this is one of their older rooms, some of the props would benefit from updates. One of the puzzle colors did not align with the clue provided, making it challenging to determine the sequence. Redesigning this puzzle to accommodate colorblind players would be beneficial, as the current design may present difficulties. The audio in the room, particularly when cueing the next clue or indicating completion, should be louder, as it is currently difficult to hear. 🏹 TAKE A SHOT? I'm a Disney fanatic, and Alice in Wonderland is my jam! That topsy-turvy world down the rabbit hole, with its zany colors and characters, is the most dramatic Disney adventure ever. Conundroom Escape Rooms nailed it, bringing that wacky world to life, and we had a blast puzzling our way through it. A little spit and polish on the game pieces and some tech upgrades could catapult this experience to the next level. You've cheated death twice while helping the McKay family, but your mission continues. Elizabeth warned: “Do not go after Henry… he now goes by No Face.” Now free from the motel, you know your next step. Matty might be in danger, and you must find them. Locals reported seeing a distressed man and a frightened girl heading northeast to their cabin. The McKays have a head start, but you're on their trail. Can you catch up and end this madness? Gather your courage for a new evil in The Cabin: Final Chapter! Video above is property of ESCAPETHEROOMers 🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE The set design effectively captured the essence of a horror film, creating an unsettling atmosphere. I appreciated that the set began outside the house, with dim lighting, requiring navigation to enter, only to discover that remaining outside might be the safer option. My initial interaction with the live actor left me momentarily disoriented (in a good way), "impairing" my ability to solve puzzles. However, the actor skillfully provided subtle hints, maintaining an eerie ambiance. Some puzzles required us to split up, which was pretty intense with just the two of us, making things even more scary since the live actor could pop up anywhere. Luckily, she was fair and got us both! The set design provided a unique opportunity to navigate the home in an unexpected manner. I appreciate that it goes beyond conventional doors and locks, offering much more to explore. The timing of the jump scares was impeccably executed, consistently surprising us. The finale delivered an adrenaline rush, leaving us uncertain about whether all mysteries were resolved and if the malevolent spirit was truly vanquished. 🧩 MISSED THE MARK If you experience discomfort with extensive crawling due to your size and height, and are playing predominantly in dim lighting, this game may not be the most suitable for you. One of the puzzles involves shape matching and presents a challenge due to the similarity of the shapes, which is exacerbated by the dim lighting. We recommend differentiating the shapes more distinctly to enhance visibility and ease of completion in such settings. 🏹 TAKE A SHOT? We missed out on playing the earlier versions of the cabin, but wow, it would have been amazing to experience them in sequence! That would have made the storyline even clearer. However, diving into this chapter alone was enough to convince us that we probably don’t want to meet the mysterious "No Face" character. If you're a fan of thrilling horror movies, you're in for a treat! There were moments when I questioned my life choices, but I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. The experience is packed with adrenaline-pumping moments and exciting puzzles to solve—if you can think straight while being scared, that is! Honestly, I'm usually a bit of a scaredy-cat, and I had no idea there would be a live actor involved. At first, I was convinced "Samara" (that's what I call the character but I'm sure she has a different name) might actually kill me, but over time, I warmed up to her and maybe even became friends? So, if you think you might need some help with the puzzles, I highly recommend interacting and getting the evil spirit to be on your side! ℹ️ ADDITIONAL INFO Complimentary parking is available directly outside the venue. The lobby offers seating and merchandise for sale. At least two members of your group will need to crawl or climb during the experience. This experience is wheelchair accessible. A live actor is part of the game. Participants aged 17 and older can play without an adult. If anyone is 16 or younger, at least one adult (18+) must join and purchase a ticket. The set design impressively includes a relaxing lounge for the band members, a recording studio, and more! Having played thousands of escape rooms, this stands out as one of the best music-themed rooms we've encountered. The creator excelled in designing the room's "cluing." As you discover the props scattered throughout, you're sure to uncover hidden clues. The difficulty level is perfectly balanced, requiring thoughtful problem-solving to crack the puzzles. We experienced several standout moments in the game, particularly when we recalled something from earlier and realized we could finally use it to solve the puzzle. The game features a variety of creative puzzles using music industry-relevant props, which we thoroughly enjoyed. One of the sound puzzles might offer an advantage to those with music knowledge, but no outside expertise is necessary to solve any of the puzzles. 🧩 MISSED THE MARK Having music soundtracks playing in the background would enhance the nostalgia in this music-themed room. Despite this minor suggestion, we thoroughly enjoyed the game. 🏹 TAKE A SHOT? Get ready for an exhilarating adventure in this non-linear room! We highly recommend diving in with a "divide and conquer" strategy right from the start. The creator has packed an impressive array of puzzles into this 60-minute game, and we absolutely loved it! Each puzzle is logical and flows smoothly, making it a dream for enthusiasts who value clever challenges over high-tech gimmicks. As a music lover, this theme resonated with me in a special way, offering a refreshing break from the usual escape room themes.
