"Red Hill Asylum" is an audio-led escape room experience. You'll need to download Skype and create an account in order to join the game. The game master will be hosting the entire game with your team on Skype. He/She will be introducing the story to your group and you'll then take turns suggesting different ideas or paths to take for the story to develop. Illustrations will be provided to help you visualize the room and puzzles.

We teamed up with our friends Escape Room Adventurer and began the journey as stars of a super popular TV show. We were filming at Red Hill Asylum since we've heard many creepy tales about it and decided that we must get footage for our beloved audience. Even if it meant to risk our lives...

We always enjoyed the "imagination" aspect of audio escape rooms and we had to use a lot of that here. We were able to tell the game master to do a lot of actions that we wouldn't be able to do in a real life escape room. Each of us had different ideas and interpretations on the paths or actions to take. The puzzles weren't as difficult and pretty predictable for enthusiasts but we still enjoyed the story line. It had a "Resident Evil" kind of feel. It would've been great to see more visual aids and eerie music. It would have made the atmosphere more creepy and better suited for the theme.

Lastly, we are happy to report that we all made it out alive. But a "piece" of our teammate will remain there forever....

(If you do decide to try this game, please remember to let them know that you heard it from"ESCAPETHEROOMers"!)
