📖 THE STORY

In the heart of Koreatown in LA is a nondescript building with a singular green light. You were given the time and date to be at that specific location to discuss a lucrative business opportunity and, when you arrive, you enter into a modern looking apartment. All seems legit albeit a little unconventional. All of a sudden, the TV turns on and the team gets introduced to Ray, a notorious drug lord in the area. He explains that while this business opportunity is available for all who showed up, he wants to vet the groups and only come out with confidants he can trust. He has hidden a number of bags of cocaine around the apartment and tipped the cops off to your location, you now have 90 mins to find and flush each bag and get rid of the evidence. It is time for you to prove your worth or get locked up for life.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The start of the room was quite unique due to the fact that they didn’t have a lobby. As soon as you enter the door with the green light, you are fully immersed in the experience and with a little bit of instruction, an apartment of puzzles is at your disposal.

  • The puzzle flow was very well choreographed. There is a wide array of conundrums that your team will have to figure out to get all of the bags. They were all fair puzzles and due to the amount and difficulty of them in this room, the flow was very well done.

  • Stash House is filled with one of the largest variety of puzzles in the industry. Due to the fact that it is a 90 minute game, your team will use nearly all of it to solve the physical and mental challenges in this room.

  • The secrets in this game are very well hidden and surprise your team each time one is revealed. They can appear nearly anywhere and reveal anything.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • One of the puzzle interfaces used wasn’t the most responsive and we had to make sure that the buttons were pressed properly in order for the solution to be taken. We had input the proper solution multiple times but the electronics did not register.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

"Stash House" is a challenging game that constantly impresses players on what great puzzle design can look like. Starting with a unique set and building upon it with the other aspects that make a game stand out in this industry, such as the storyline and actions that are taken during the game, it cements itself as a true stand out experience. It is a game built for large groups to work together, our team was filled with four people and we barely got out as experienced enthusiasts. Each person will find at least one puzzle that will be their favorite for them and everyone will contribute by the end. Stash House is an experience with excellent puzzle flow, surprising twists, and shocking reveals to make this a stand out room in the industry.
