Each player from your team receives a unique login code, allowing them to explore the game independently. The game progress isn't synchronized among players, meaning each individual must input all answers to keep up with the group. We arranged a phone call to talk about puzzles, strategies, and solutions.
This is not a point-and-click game, so it does not involve any searching. The hotspots are bright pink, clearly indicating that information is available when clicked. In each stage, there weren't many rooms to switch between. Most of the clues and puzzles were concentrated on a single screen.
As you delve deeper into Anna Marks' disappearance, you start gathering information to move forward. The dossiers you receive contain audio recordings along with the corresponding transcripts. As you advance, you'll gather information that will be stored in your inventory for future reference.

Generally, the puzzles in "Disappearance at Darkmoor" were logical and complex, requiring you to establish connections using the information gathered in your inventory. As detectives, we were assigned to discover Anna Marks' location by employing investigative techniques to gather some answers. The puzzles we had to solve all connected to the storyline really well.

We strongly suggest "Disappearance at Darkmoor" for both beginners and enthusiasts who enjoy detective-style games. As detectives assigned to uncover what transpired and locate Anna Marks, we felt as if we were placed in the driver’s seat to conduct the investigation. As you explore her life and the suspects involved, twists and turns to the story begins to unfold. For beginners, we suggest 3-4 players, while for enthusiasts, 1-2 players are recommended.
