🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • First of all, I'm a huge fan of Scooby-Doo and when I found out that Escapology was creating a room for it, I was super excited! But on the flip side, I also had a lot of expectations as the bar was set pretty high to deliver something so iconic! Luckily, Escapology did not disappoint and and we were really impressed with the set design AND the puzzles!

  • The storyline was a lot of fun, creative, and mysterious at the same time and bought back memories of the TV shows we watched when we're young (Who am I kidding. I still watch them whenever they are on TV). If you think about it, Scooby and the gang were essentially escape room enthusiasts solving puzzles and finding out a way to escape. Creating a live in-person experience was a no-brainer!

  • The set design felt like we stepped inside one of their cartoon episodes and got to be part of the gang at Mystery Incorporated. The dark blue colors and fireplace glow effect definitely gave it a spooky castle look.

  • The puzzles had us using pretty all of our senses. Smell was even part of one of them! We also really enjoyed the usage of the Scooby snacks.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • We're pretty happy with the entire experience. If we had to nitpick, there was one puzzle that we had to assume a certain way of how a route would have went but there seems to be multiple interpretations as Cici was confused about it but I was able to figure out the right path.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

Don't be fooled by the cartoonish look, the puzzles were actually pretty challenging and there's a lot to do in the hour. We actually had to really concentrate and continuously solve puzzles to escape in time (I think we had about 10min left). For beginners, we suggest having at least 3-4 people. Anyone that's a fan of the Scooby-Doo will not be disappointed playing this game! But even if you are not a fan of the cartoon, you'll still have a great time. This room is great for kids but also adults who wants to be a kid again! If you still want some more entertainment after the escape room, head over to their sister company Wamesit Lanes and bowl a Turkey or two!
