We are excited to visit Escape Room Arlington today who’s a sister company to Escape Room Herndon. They all belong to the umbrella corporation of Ravenchase Adventures but operate separately. We heard great things about a room that was originally at Escape Room Herndon that they said we had to try – “Supervillains”. Since this room moved over to Escape Room Arlington, a lot has been changed so if you played it before at Escape Room Herndon perhaps you should give it another try here. There’s a few parking lots in the area but the best one is located across the street from them. The lobby waiting area is very spacious and can easy hold large groups.

Now who doesn’t love being a superhero and saving the world? Especially when it’s the ones from the DC comics? As we hydrated ourselves, used the restroom, and tightened our shoelaces, we were ready to enter the comic realm to capture the 4 villains that escaped and save the city. This room is quite large, so we did have to “travel” a good amount back and forth to complete our mission. It was really fun to work as a "Dynamic Duo" tackling different puzzles in different realms and regroup again in the headquarters. We liked the design of the room a lot as each villain had their special “look” and the puzzles all revolved around their characters. There was one puzzle that we were stuck on that we thought we had to use outside knowledge to solve it, but we were impressed after receiving the hint that everything needed was hidden in plain sight. This room used just enough mixture of locks and tech for the puzzles. We escaped with just the two of us and some time to spare but we can totally see a group of friends enjoying this room together as explained prior that this is not really a linear room and you can divide and conquer.

We had a great time saving the world and had so much fun that we didn’t want it to end. It’s too bad we didn’t have enough time to try their other rooms at this location (Mind Trap, Secret in the Attic, and Glitch) as we would’ve definitely wanted to see what other amazing creations was behind this innovative company. They also have a new room coming out called “Poe’s Chamber” which we would love to try whenever we are back in the VA area again.

(If you do decide to try this game, give us a shoutout or tag us on social media so we know you heard it from "ESCAPETHEROOMers"!)

** We don't want to go into detail and ruin any surprises for you, but you want more info like if the room is a multi-room or what other additional tips we can provide to you, feel free to email us.
