Read our reviews on "The Haunted Hotel" room to get more information about this escape room location. We had so much fun the last time we were at BrainXcape Escape Room Game NYC that we decided to try their other room - "Prison Break". This time, we were also fortunate enough to speak w/ the owner to learn more about the future of BrainXcape. Currently they offer two rooms at their Midtown location in Manhattan, New York City and they are in the process of opening up three more rooms in their brand new Financial District location. Much like "The Haunted Hotel, you are full immersed as soon as you start your game! The set design is truly incredible and extremely detailed. Some of the puzzles were creative and had a bit of relevance to the theme of the room. However, there was no clear explanation of the storyline. In comparison w/ "The Haunted Hotel" room, "Prison Break" was less difficult and story-driven. Either way, we highly recommend that you try the rooms at BrainXcape if you are in the NYC-area to experience the decor and the level of detail that is implemented. We can not wait to see what the three new rooms have to offer!
