Although there's no game masters (you can request one if you need one), you'll still need to book a time slot to play the game. The link will only be active for 5 hours from your scheduled time so make sure your group is on time. Once you've received the link, designate one player to be the team captain. The rest of the teammates should click the "participant link". Coordinate the "start" of the game together as each player will need to enter their own codes as the game is not synced. The hint option is only available with the team captain. If you choose to use a hint, 1 minute will be deducted as penalty.

The point-n-click platform was quite easy to use. There's never a time when we had to venture outside of the game's platform. You'll be able to examine imagines by enlarging them a magnifying glass, watch videos, open locks, and sometimes even listen to audio clues.

The company has a 45 minute and a 60 minute version of the games. If you want the easier version, it'll give you slight nudges on what to do next with highlights on certain objects or locks. We played The Prestigious Booking not knowing that the game was programed as a 45 minute game. With 6 enthusiast who's played hundreds of games, we finished in 18 minutes and 13 seconds with no hints. Most of the puzzles involved searching for items and associating them to the right locks. We took our time with The Cyber Drop and read through the story line as whenever we solved a puzzle, a short storyline would populate to give us the next task. The puzzles were slightly harder in this game which involved decoding, observation and minor Math. There were also a few cool gadgets that we were able to use in the interface that made the game feel escape room like. We finished this room in 34 minutes without a hint.

Our favorite of the two was The Cyber Drop as it stuck to the storyline and utilized puzzles that made sense in what agents would do in real life situations. Mobile Escapes audience is definitely geared towards corporate bookings and beginners. Although we had fun in both games, it felt too easy and short for us to justify the cost especially being that it's per person. As enthusiasts, we would love to see the platform being utilized in a longer game with harder puzzles in the future!
